Overview

RoadJustice ("the App") is a traffic violation evidence preparation tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Information We Collect

Information Stored Only on Your Device

The App processes the following data entirely on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers:

• Dashcam videos you import from your photo library
• Screenshots captured from videos
• License plate numbers recognized via on-device OCR (Apple Vision framework)
• Violation dates and times extracted from video metadata
• GPS coordinates and addresses extracted from video metadata and resolved via Apple MapKit

Information Collected by Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services, which may collect data according to their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob: Displays banner and interstitial advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data for ad personalization and analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Firebase Crashlytics: Collects crash reports including device model, OS version, and stack traces to help us improve app stability. No personal data is included in crash reports. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
• Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymous usage data such as session duration, screen views, and app events. See Firebase Privacy Policy.

How We Use Your Information

• On-device processing: Video trimming, screenshot capture, license plate recognition, and GPS resolution are performed entirely on your device.
• Crash reporting: Anonymous crash data is sent to Firebase Crashlytics to help us identify and fix bugs.
• Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics are collected via Firebase Analytics to help us understand how the App is used and improve the user experience.
• Advertising: Google AdMob displays ads within the App. Ad-related data is handled by Google according to their privacy policy.

Data Storage

• All user-generated content (videos, screenshots, report records) is stored locally on your device only.
• We do not operate any servers that store your personal data.
• Report records are stored using on-device SwiftData and are never uploaded.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties. The only data transmitted from your device is:

• Anonymous crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)
• Anonymous usage analytics (Firebase Analytics)
• Advertising data (Google AdMob)

Permissions

• Photo Library Access: To import dashcam videos and save trimmed videos/screenshots back to your library.
• Location (When In Use): Optionally used to determine the jurisdiction of the violation location. Location data is processed on-device only.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
